First, look at the exterior of your home, also called your curb appeal. Look at the exterior of your home from a street perspective. What do you notice first? What awesome characteristics seem to fade into the background?
Knowing this helps us to choose what steps we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't as neat as possible with touched up paint and blooming garden plants we'll need to tackle those issues. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Can buyers envision themselves lounging in your living area, unwinding in your spa tub or hosting a dinner in your dining room? We want your Open House to welcome buyers and give them a sense of ease. We'll help you accomplish this by recommending small improvements that enhance your home's features.
We'll help you put out of sight anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be neatly arranged. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. We can help you de-clutter your house. Unsightly or busy places make your home look smaller and buyers have a more difficult time imagining themselves living there.
Every area gets a once-over. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively impact the sale.
We'll make sure your house is neutral and that it's inviting, steering clear of "loud" or "personalized" hues on the walls and furniture. And if the house is vacant, you can consider renting furnishings. The goal is for your house to look lived in as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage
We'll tell you when for the Open House, because all of the changes come together to paint a picture of what buyers can envision after they close on your house.
Brightening up each room is critical, so we'll do things like draw back curtains and create light where needed to show off your property. Together we'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests experience your home and make sure a pleasing scent flows room-to-room. We'll include cozy-looking bedspreads, and pillows on your sofa and bed.
